We encourage attendees to enjoy all that Charlottesville, and the Piedmont Region has to offer. Nestled near the Blue Ridge Mountains, which offers hiking and other activities, along with a vast winery region, an active food scene, and a small-town feel, we hope you enjoy your visit!

Dinner reservations are recommended since the meeting takes place on the weekdays some restaurants are closed. We have collected a list of restaurants that are in direct walking distance of the hotels, conference venue, a trolley ride, or a short drive. The organizers will reach out with ways to help attendees and local UVA researchers make connections for dinners during the meeting.
